  1. Venue and Dates of the workshop

The workshop on NEPAD Science & Technology will be held at Le Méridien Re-Ndama Hotel in Libreville, Gabon from 1st to 2nd March, 2005.  Tel:+241.76.61.61  fax: 74.29.24  email: reservation@lemeridien.ga

 

  1. Arrival and Departure dates

Participants to the workshop are expected to arrive on 28th February and depart on 3rd March 2005.

 

  1. Accommodation

Accommodation for all the participants has been arranged at Le Méridien Re-Ndama Hotel covering the above period.

 

  1. Ground transportation in Gabon

Ground transportation in Gabon will be provided by Direction de la recherche scientifique All delegates are requested to communicate their travel itinerary to Dr SAMBO assisted by* so that we can arrange for airport pick-up and drop-off. In case of any problems call name and telephone who is coordinating transport.

*I’ll give you the name of the responsible of transport by phone tomorrow afternoon

  1. Payment of per diems

Per diem of US$50/day equivalent will be paid to cover dinner and incidental expenses. Teas/coffees and lunches will be provided.

 

  1. Air tickets, visas, ground transportation in the country of origin

As per letter of invitation the NEPAD Secretariat will pay your travel costs which will include airfare, visa refund and airport taxes. Pre-paid ticket advice (PTAs) will be sent to the delegates directly by Mistral Voyage in Libreville. As a modest contribution, delegates will meet the cost of ground transportation in their country of origin.
